Operation Hope Florida's Christmas Toy Drive Reception and Pickup at Orchid Island

VERO BEACH, FL  – Santa Claus soars, and kids swoon on Christmas! Members of Orchid Island Golf & Beach Club ensured that Vero Beach families in need will have a very special holiday season as a result of its annual holiday toy drive to benefit Operation Hope Florida . 
 
On December 4, Orchid Island Golf & Beach Club hosted its highly anticipated, annual Operation Hope Holiday Toy Drive Cocktail Reception which featured creative bites by executive chef Chris Sozio and holiday entertainment under the stars.
 
More than 150 Orchid Island members donated a treasure trove of holiday mementos, including toys, bikes, and electronics. These items benefit Operation Hope Florida's mission to provide holiday gifts to disadvantaged children year after year.
 
On December 15, Operation Hope Florida's president and founder Jesse Zermeno and his team of merry elves visited Orchid Island to pick up more than 200 unwrapped gifts which will be distributed at the nonprofit's annual Santa Claus Christmas Festival in Fellsmere, Florida.  
 
"Our residents eagerly look forward to this time of year," says Orchid Island's general manager, Rob Tench. “We love collaborating with Operation HopeFlorida, and bringing happiness to families and children is what makes the holidays truly special."
