Orchid Island Golf & Beach Club Unveils $8.2 Million Beach Club Renovation
VERO BEACH, FL – Members of Orchid Island Golf & Beach Club will enjoy a newly renovated Beach Club this season. The $8.2 million renovation includes the expansion of the Seaside Lounge opening in December. The Seaside Lounge, in harmony with the Beach Club Dining Room, will expand from 1,500 square feet to 3,900 square feet and include five large windows with sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean.
A new 4,100 square foot beachfront spa and two Beach Suites will open in the Spring, and will include four treatment rooms, manicure and pedicure stations, a hair salon, and men’s and women’s locker rooms with steam and sauna, as well as a relaxation area.
The renovation also includes new offices for Orchid Island Realty which are completed and open for clients looking to purchase or sell in the community.
Peacock & Lewis Architecture, Master Planning and Design of North Palm Beach oversaw the project design, and its interior designer Jeannine Rohtla is handling design for the spa. Natalie Holtom will serve as the interior designer for the Seaside Lounge and Beach Suites.
The renovation comes on the heels of a $5 million renovation to the Golf Club dining room and the addition of a 2,000 square foot Pelican Pavilion including six new cushioned regulation size pickleball courts, an elegant 32 seat outdoor covered social area, a basketball court, croquet court, bocce lanes, and a playground. The Golf Club renovation was unveiled just a year after architect Brandon Johnson completely renovated the golf course.
