Master’s Academy Class of 2025 Celebrates Graduation with a Message of Purpose and Integrity

           

VERO BEACH, FL - Master’s Academy honored the graduating Class of 2025 in a moving and memorable commencement ceremony held on May 16, where students, families, faculty, and guests gathered to celebrate the academic and spiritual accomplishments of this year’s seniors.

This year’s keynote address was delivered by Dr. Andre Vendryes, a long-term supporter of Master’s Academy and respected local family physician with over 30 years of experience. Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Dr. Vendryes moved to the United States to pursue medicine, graduating from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in 1995. Today, he and his wife Eve are proud parents in a blended family of 14 — several of whom are Master’s alumni, current students, and graduates. 

In his charge to the Class of 2025, Dr. Vendryes offered a message rooted in faith, purpose, and identity. “We are proud of what you’ve accomplished,” he said, “but more than that, we are proud of who you are, and of who you are being shaped into: young men and women who are diligent, determined, willing to sacrifice, and unashamed to follow Jesus in today’s culture.”

Drawing from Psalm 78:72, Dr. Vendryes emphasized the balance of inner integrity and outward skill, encouraging students to walk forward with hearts aligned to Christ. His heartfelt reminder echoed the mission of Master’s Academy. “We have no greater joy than to hear that our children are walking in the truth.”

Dr. Rick Brewer, Head of School at Master’s Academy, shared: “Each graduate represents a story of God’s faithfulness, hard work, and community support. It is our great joy to equip students not just for college or career, but for a life of impact. We believe the Class of 2025 will go forward with strength and integrity, ready to be leaders who honor Christ in all they do.”

As the ceremony concluded, the celebration marked not only an end but a beginning—the launch of a new chapter for each graduate, firmly rooted in faith, excellence, and a call to impact their world for Christ.
