JohnMark Jenkins Appointed Director of Fitness & Wellness at Orchid Island Golf & Beach Club

Orchid Island Golf & Beach Club is pleased to announce the appointment of JohnMark Jenkins as Director of Fitness & Wellness. 
 
In this leadership role, Jenkins will oversee the daily operations of both the Fitness Center and Spa, ensuring that members receive exceptional fitness services, programs, and experiences.
 
With over 20 years of experience in the fitness and wellness industry, Jenkins brings a wealth of hands-on knowledge and expertise to Orchid Island. 
 
Previously, he served as the Lead Trainer and one of the Managers of the Lifestyle and Wellness Center at Boca West Country Club, overseeing the largest fitness complex in the private club industry and contributing to the development of a $76 million expansion. Additionally, he served as Director of Performance and Conditioning at Evert Tennis Academy for 14 years, where he developed specialized strength and conditioning programs for junior and professional tennis players.
 
At Orchid Island, Jenkins manages a staff of 15 team members, ensuring the fiscal soundness of the Fitness and Spa departments while providing sport-specific training for tennis, golf, and pickleball. He’s also responsible for leading a wide range of special events, including the annual Family 5K Walk & Run.
