Our mission as an organization is to represent its membership and to provide leadership for positive economic growth and change.

Our Roots
Our Chamber began in 1915 as the Board of Trade. It was renamed in 1922 as the Chamber of Commerce. We have a long-standing legacy of community initiatives throughout our 100 year history, including adding the county Tourism and Economic Development organizations to our Chamber family. Today, our Chamber has over 700 members representing thousands of employees, entrepreneurs, and owners.
