Garden Club of Indian River

About Us

The Garden Club of Indian River County was organized in 1928 and became a member of the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs in 1933.

The club's purpose is to further the education of our members and the public in gardening, horticulture, floral arrangement, and landscape design; to beautify our county through various civic projects; and to study and assist in protecting and conserving native plants and natural resources.

The Garden Club currently has 205 members, divided into 9 Circles. Each Circle meets monthly from September through May at different times of the day or evening.

We plan various programs to educate members on subjects such as gardening, floral design, and horticulture. Annual dues are approximately $65.00.

Members are expected to assist with all major activities of the Garden Club of Indian River County, as well as those of their individual Circles, including maintaining the Garden Center and the beautiful garden surrounding the building.
