American Icon Brewery is a favorite spot for families and friends to gather in the Vero Beach area. The flagship of Arts Village, our mission is to create balanced, approachable, and interesting hand-crafted beers. Our restaurant and ale house share the same commitment to quality that is evident in the food and service provided.

MEET THE CO-OWNER
Carl Berry describes himself as a “guy from a small town who was hungry as hell!”. Berry was born in Belle Glade and raised in Indiantown - both small rural towns in South Florida. At the age of 14, he started mopping floors in an Italian restaurant in his hometown and has held just about every job in the hospitality industry since, including chef and general manager. He was also in charge of training and opening new stores for Duffy’s Sports Grill. In 2019, Berry joined forces with his Duffy’s colleagues to create Paradigm Hospitality Group, which bought American Icon Brewery. As the co-owner of the brewery, he runs the day-to-day operations and has expanded beer distribution to all parts of South Florida and the Treasure Coast. He says his formula for operating a major craft beer brand and restaurant is simple, “Enjoy people. Put out good food. Have fun.”
