What is the Treasure Coast Legislative Conference: 

The Treasure Coast Legislative Conference is an annual meeting where local elected officials, business leaders, and community stakeholders from Florida’s Treasure Coast Region Chambers (Indian River, St. Lucie, and Martin counties) meet with state legislators.

The Treasure Coast Legislative Conference focuses on identifying, discussing, and lobbying for regional priorities, such as water quality, infrastructure, and local funding, before the state's official 60-day legislative session in Tallahassee.  Each Chamber prepares a Legislative Priorities paper for the conference. These priorities are shared and discussed at the three-day conference and shared with elected officials, chamber members, community leaders and local businesses. 

The Purpose of the Conference:

The conference allows local officials, business leaders, and chamber members to advocate for the specific needs of the "Treasure Coast" region, including water resources, affordable housing, property tax relief, and economic development.
 
Conference Organizer’s:

The Conference is organized and hosted by a partnership of regional chambers of commerce: the Indian River County Chamber, the St. Lucie County Chamber, and the Stuart/Martin County Chamber.  Each year, the event is hosted by a chamber in rotation.
