Description
The program provides high school students and young adults an opportunity to consider an alternative career path in the manufacturing industry. It is a FREE week-long program, that immerses participants into the manufacturing environment with facility tours and one-on-one conversations with owners and plant managers.
We encourage all high school students in Indian River County to apply, including: Students at Vero Beach and Sebastian River high schools, the Charter High School, private schools, as well as students who are home-schooled or finishing up their GEDs, plus young adults up to age 22. Priority consideration is given to students enrolled in Career & Technical Education curriculum (CTE). Call the Indian River Chamber's Economic Development Office at 772-567-3491 for more information
