As a well-respected clinician\, researcher\, and teacher\, Dr. Tousimis is at the top of her field. She has traveled the world treating patients\, studied at the finest universities and has holds a variety of leadership positions in several professional societies such as President of the American Medical Women?s Association.\n\n\n\nIn 2016\, she was recognized for her compassion and asked to be the physician on call for his Holiness the Dalai Lama when he visited Washington D.C.\n\n\n\nIn addition to her world-class medical capabilities\, Dr. Tousimis has an MBA from MIT\, and knows how to create successful business\, reaping rewards for all under her care from patients\, to employees and the community at large- all while being a mother and wife.
