SUMMARY:Tipsy Turtle 2 Mile Fun Run and Festival
DESCRIPTION:Coastal Connections' 5th Annual "TIPSY TURTLE 2 MILE RUN/WALK" located in Vero Beach\, is scheduled for Easter Weekend on April 19\, 2025. This is a one-of-a-kind sponsorship opportunity\, as there are no other road races that take participants directly along the beautiful oceanside businesses and beachfront landscape in Vero. More importantly\, there are no other races in Indian River that directly influence the health and beautification of our beachfront area\, which is home to thousands of nesting sea turtles.\n\n\nThe race is scheduled for Saturday\, April 19th\, at Jaycee Beach Park once again! Last year was the first year we moved the race to this location and everyone LOVED it! The race will begin with our hatchling dash at 8 a.m. followed by the full race at 8:30 a.m. The fun run race route runs south from Jaycee Beach Park along Ocean Drive to Sexton Plaza and returns to Jaycee Beach after running through Vero's stunning beachfront neighborhood. Once back at the park\, there will be an Easter Beach Party with FREE kids activities including an eco egg hunt and coloring station. There will also be a small vendor village showcasing local artisans and a raffle for guests to win amazing prizes. We anticipate our biggest turnout ever for this family-friendly event and Vero's only true beachfront race\, with participants ranging from all ages.
