She joined a family practice group in Traverse City\, MI and was a partner in the practice for 10 years. At that position\, she practiced full scope family practice treating all ages and was able to do numerous in office procedures. In search of more sunshine and warmth\, Dr Kaupas and her family moved to Florida. Now she is opening this direct primary care practice with the goal of providing excellent medical care to each patient she sees. Medicine should be about taking care of the patient\, and direct primary care allows her to get back to that instead of focusing on the quantity and metrics of patients seen daily.\n\nDr Kaupas enjoys spending time swimming\, paddling\, running\, and walking the beach with her family.
