Learn how community members\, businesses\, and organizations can be part of the solution and help change the ending of the story the numbers tell.\n\n\n\n______________\n\n\n\nAbout Megan McFall: Megan McFall serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Indian River County Healthy Start Coalition\, where she leads a community-wide effort to improve maternal and child health outcomes and strengthen the well-being of children and families throughout Indian River County.\n\n\n\nWith more than 27 years of healthcare experience and 24 years in leadership\, Megan has built her career around caring for people\, developing strong teams\, strengthening healthcare systems\, and creating programs that make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and families. She is known for her collaborative leadership style\, strategic approach\, and ability to bring people and organizations together around a shared vision.\n\n\n\nPrior to joining Healthy Start in 2023\, Megan spent 17 years with Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital\, serving in a variety of clinical and executive leadership roles\, including Director of Women's Healthcare. Her experience spans women's health\, quality improvement\, program development\, operations\, and community partnerships\, experiences that continue to shape her approach to leading Healthy Start today.\n\n\n\nMegan holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Middle Tennessee State University and a Nursing Degree from Indian River State College\, where she was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.\n\nA proud graduate of Vero Beach High School and resident of Indian River County since 1985\, Megan's connection to this community is both professional and deeply personal. She has spent much of her life here raising her family\, building her career\, and serving the people who call Indian River County home. She and her husband\, Karry\, have been married for 28 years and are the proud parents of two daughters.\n\n\n\nMegan believes that the health of a community begins with the health of its mothers\, babies\, and families. She is passionate about bringing people together\, challenging systems to think differently\, and building partnerships that turn good ideas into lasting impact. Through her leadership at Healthy Start\, she is committed to creating a stronger local system of care where every mother and baby has the opportunity for a healthy beginning and every family has the support they need to thrive.
