DESCRIPTION:In celebration of World Oceans Day in June\, FAU Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute presents: The International Ocean Film Festival Florida Tour. Join us on June 2nd\, for an inspirational evening of storytelling and visuals featuring award-winning independent films from around the world. The evening includes a catered reception\, films and a panel conversation with FAU Harbor Branch researchers who will give us their insight into the health of our oceans and how we can make a difference. Tickets are $75.00. Reception begins at 5:00 p.m. Films will be shown at 6:30 p.m. For tickets and information visit: www.fau.edu/hboi/filmfest. For two decades the International Ocean Film Festival (IOFF) has provided a global platform for ocean literacy and education through independent film. The Florida Tour will also include stops at partner organizations such as The Guy Harvey Foundation\, Loggerhead Marinelife Center\, Florida Oceanographic Society\, Blue Scholars Initiative and Reef Relief.
