Community Engagement & Events Volunteer

The We Care Foundation of Indian River is seeking enthusiastic and community-minded volunteers to support our marketing, outreach, and fundraising efforts. If you enjoy planning events, creating engaging content, connecting with the community, or helping nonprofit organizations grow their impact, we'd love to hear from you.
Volunteer Responsibilities May Include:
- Assisting with fundraising events and community outreach activities
- Helping coordinate event logistics before, during, and after events
- Supporting social media, email marketing, and promotional campaigns
- Distributing marketing materials throughout the community
- Assisting with sponsorship and donor recognition activities
- Taking event photos and helping create post-event content
- Representing We Care at community events and networking opportunities
Ideal Qualifications:
- Friendly, dependable, and organized
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Interest in marketing, event planning, public relations, or nonprofit work
- Experience with social media, graphic design, photography, or event coordination is a plus, but not required
- Passion for serving the Indian River County community
Time Commitment:
Flexible. Volunteers may assist with individual events or provide ongoing support based on their availability.
