Description
Amateurs and experienced birders are invited to grab a cup of coffee and head to the Land Trust's conservation land for a morning walk. A knowledgeable birder will lead the group on an outing to survey the species located on the 111 acre protected area. The walk will take birders on a 1.5 mile path around mangrove forest, by ponds, and past the Lagoon. The tour is approximately 1 1/2 hours. All are welcome, families are encouraged! Birds spotted in the past on the property include: Roseate Spoonbills, several types of Herons and Egrets, Ospreys, Bald Eagles and Warblers. There is no need to register, tours begin at 7:00 AM. Please check our website prior to the event for weather cancellations and other information. The early bird sees the birds!
